Cool

I've owned a Staff for the last 10 years and am now looking for a puppy, I've done the usual stuff and sent off for the puppy pack from the Kennel Club, looked at Staffy websites and spoken to a Staffy/Scooby owning friend (Hi Phil ) but I thought I'd try here too as this site usually comes up with helpful info/advice on most things

We're looking for a well bred Staff with a good pedigree from a reputable breeder preferably where both parents can be seen

BTW my older Staff has been dogknapped by my parents who won't let me have him back so there's no territorial issues to confront here

Cheers

Sal

Surprising enough I was just about to post the same and read this post here. Spooky!!!!

I am also thinking about getting a staffy, as the children are now growing up.

I have found the staffy rescue http://www.staffords.co.uk/sbtrescue/contact_us.htm

and

http://www.staffords.co.uk/

I'm also looking for a well bred dog (not bitch) not bothered if it's a puppy or a rescue dog, as long as it's good with children (as I have four of them) I would love a Cradbury Red dog, but can't find them anywhere

A staffordshire bull terrier is NOT a dangerous dog, so doesn't need muzzling in public!!

Phill - spooky

Have a look at http://www.champdogs.co.uk/ Also I went to a site via a link from one of these two sites http://www.staffordnetwork.com/wwwdirectory/UK.html or http://www.staffords.co.uk/ Sorry I can't remember which and found lots of reds

Rich - you've met Grizzly and should know that the only dangerous thing about him is his breath

A friend of mine has a Staffie who is a soft as anything, my Cocker Spaniel would be more dangerous than the Staffie LOL

I can get in touch and ask which breeder he used if you want.

Scoobychick,

Look :-

Breed : Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Sire : Friarstaff Tyson
Dam : Valglo Firienza
Birth Date : 15th November 2001
Dogs Available : 1
Bitches Available : 4
Guide Price : £400.00

Nice but black brindle, we must have red otherwise it will clash with the cats / furniture Nice dogs though, and a fair price.

Sal,

Comes from very good stock, so I think that £400 is very cheap. I paid £200 for Urnie 12 years ago, and he didn't have as much potential to show as these dogs will.

Good luck, and if you come across a nice red let us know.

stevie c,

Any pictures ? It isn't too far to travel, I'm sure there are local rescue organisations, but I haven't looked into it. Question of time.

I don't mind a puppy or a young dog, but lets face it any staffy is worth a second chance. We have a loving family with four daughters that are gagging to take their dog for a walk Had two staffys before and really miss them

No, he was the Dad.

The best Staffie I ever had (out of 5). Soft as whatever with the kids but an absolute b@astard with strangers Just too big to show unfortunately (55 lbs fighting fit)

ps the little white one was the boss !!

Hi folks,
Sorry no puppys for sale, but here's a photo of our bitch Jess with her mum when she was a puppy, she's now 11 months old & came from a litter of eight.

Staffs are lovely dogs & make great pets, she even gets on with our cat!

Monkey that piccie is sooooo sweet

We've just had Phils dog (the brown & white Staffie pictured above) round as a house guest for the evening, he's completely mad, he went into every room, on every bit of furniture then jumped onto the bed and stole my fluffy toy mini! Oh and then farted a bit

But he's lovely

Forgot to mention the farting bit!

They always seem to do it when stretching after waking up!

I'm suprised on-one has said this before, yes Staffys do have smelly asses. Or they have an amazing ability to fart.
