Default Driving in the rain

Sitting at home looking out the window...
I live next to a big river with a busy two lane road between me and the river.
Obviously with heavy rain, the lie of the land dictates that water flows towards river.

Question -

What kind of person thinks it's acceptable to drive through 12 inches of water flowing across a road, at more than 30 mph create a wave that goes over the bonnet and 20-30 feet either side..?

It would also be useful if these dicks could tell the difference between rain and fog.

If you manage to soak a young mother with a baby in a pram and a small child that's a bonus

but seriously, people forget that brakes don't work too well when they're wet or that you might drown your engine.

A rare time of the year when city boys can justify their 4x4s!

Just been sunbathing here...
