Default Satellite Navigation : Poland?

Hello

I'm going to drive to Poland in the next few weeks and have wanted an excuse to be a Satellite Navigation toy for quite a while.

The trouble is, I can't find one that has Poland on it! Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Steve

My Becker Traffic Assist Highspeed II 7988 has Poland on it, along with Slovakia, Lithuania etc which aren't usually included on European maps by other manufacturors. I've used it plenty in the UK and it's very good, and a mate of mine borrowed it to drive to Lithuania and back a few weeks ago, he said it worked just fine and it had loads of Polish waypoints stored when I got it back - so I know he used it!

£234.99 from Viking Direct.

Thanks Iwan, I'll take a look.

Nothing to do with Becker being a German manufacturer?

Probably. I most other sat-nav manufacturors (that I looked at) seem to stop their maps at the edge of Germany/Austria/Czech.

Of course if you don't go to these places it's not a big deal, but if you do, it's a bit crap shopping for a sat-nav with European coverage only to find most of them cover only half of Europe.

The reason that they don't do many sat-navs with Poland on them is that if you have a sat-nav in your car and take it to Poland, you'll probably leave without it

More likely to have it stolen in Britain IMHO.

Thank you for the replies.

The cheapest (okay) one that I can find (to answer my own question) is the Garmin Nuvi 250 (at about £160).
