Question Stolen Property...

Hypothetically speaking, you buy something from the freeads in very good faith and later find out it is registered as stolen...what would your next step be ?

Thanks

Reporting the seller would be a good idea if your prepared to lose the said item and any chance of any money back.

Report it to the police, then report to eBAY for a refund. If it's my PDA can you post it back to me please?

If it was bought via PayPal, I reckon he'd stand a good chance of getting a refund, seems they generally go with the buyer

If its stolen then the vendor didnt have good title: as a result good title cant be passed on to you. Unfortunately you do not own the item/items...

If you keep it knowing it to be stolen then you commit the offence of handling stolen goods, which carries a heavier penalty than the original theft.
