Think Martha Jones from Doctor Who is in a few episodes as well. Ties in with her rejoining the Doctor after he loses his patience with Catherine Tate's crap jokes and chucks her out the TARDIS.

I hope CT isn't in Dr Who for long, I loathed the episode she was in before, I just can't stand the woman.

Think the next series is on for as much as 3 months. Half of which I understand has CT as companion and then Martha is back for the last half.
Although I understand the police wanting to make sure people are aware of an explosion involved in filming but it does seem to "over egg" the terrorism angle - seems so forced down our throats to aid the justififcation of wasting billions of pounds buggering about in desert.

As Jonnip said Torchwood is currently filming in Cardiff. Martha Jones is guesting in three episodes and Catherine Tate is in the complete next Series of Doctor Who.
