Default garages undoing wheels with rechargeable drills

went to a fast fit brake type place at weekend

i was amazed to see instead of using air lines they used a rechargeable drill, it got the wheel on and off in no time.

the spanner jockey reckons they are 320 quid each

So......point being?

Should have the final tightening done by a torque wrench though. And they won't undo rusty subframe bolts

Unless you order it from the states...in which case they are $400

That's a £200 mark-up, robbing barstewards (we actually kicked out our local snap-on-van-man. All he wanted to do was sell new stuff...couldn't give a stuff if anything he sold broke or needed spares We now have a MAC-van-man ).

Quite normal sharkman. The company I work for buys a lot from the states to sell in the uk. The general rule of thumb is to just change the $ symbol to a £ one instead!

The best PR on the market more like

Teng, MAC, and even certain Halfords Pro stuff are all as good IMO, and at a far better price

Makita power tools eat Snap-On stuff for breakfast, I've been doing wheel nuts with my 14.4V drill for years, and it's never once failed in the line of

Not having much knowledge of the haulage industry, I'm curious
Why do you need to put different wheels on the trailers if they are destined for a different country
