Default Top window cleaning tip

Got told this at the weekend by the mother in law.

Instead of using a cloth of some sort to clean the inside of windows with Windowlene or whatever, use scrunched up newspaper. Then you dont get any streaks and its minimal effort.

Confirmed after I watched the wife clean the living room windows as I watched the MotoGP.........

What's up with MotoGP, I haven't really followed it since they went to the 4 stroke format, but noticed there were only 14 finishers yesterday and 19 starters, pretty p*ss poor grid isn't it? Also noticed they have 3 riders per row in stead of 4, which looks ludicrous at the start. I thought that in this new era the grid would be bursting with manufacturers, but it all just looked a bit lacklustre!

Indeed, perhaps MotoGP just needs a bit of Windolene!

They went to 3 instead of 4 per row on the grid to reduce the number of first corner pile-ups, but you could start them at one minute intervals and Tony Elias and Olivier Jacques would still find a way

The reduction in numbers is mainly due to an increasing dearth of sponsorship money, mainly thanks to the tobacco advertising ban Where once we had Camel, Marlboro, Gauloise, Lucky Strike et al, only Marlboro now remain

Ilmor fell by the wayside two races into the season, one of the mighty Honda satellite teams (LCR) has only entered one rider this year, and Kenny Roberts Snr felt the need to comment on how much more difficult it was getting at the beginning of the season, but strangely now has enough cash to put bikes under two of his sons

Conversely (and perhaps as a result) the wealth of riding talent in the saddles is at an all time high, the racing this season is better than its been for a long time

Anyway, back on topic, everybody cleans windows this way over here. At first I assumed it was because they couldn't be bothered getting a decent cloth for the task, but the newspaper real does do a far superior job
