Fathers with daughters. Do you...........
............ever worry about, or make rules about what your daughter is wearing?
Just asking, as I was In Sainsburys earlier, and my attention was taken by the rear view of a young lady in white hipster combat type trousers. You could see through them, and the view was enhanced by very sexy skimpy panties
Then, she turned and went over to what was obviously her mum, and I was shocked to see that she was about 15, or even a bit less.
So...........how do you fathers feel about that?
I felt embarassed and a bit pervy

Ofcourse, any decent parent will not allow their daughter to dress up like a typical club going *****, not atleast untill they are much older and more mature.
It saddens me to see how young girls and boys are loosing their innocence. Too much underage sex these days- something which can be directly attributed to the fact of a lack of family values in society. Teenage girls are too promiscouis.

I'm not sure it has actually got any worse from when I was that age
It was a given for the young girls about to leave school to get themselves 'up the duff' so to speak so they could leave home and get a council house
They do dress differently these days, and I am surprised at the clothes some of them wear for their age, but underage sex has always gone on, at least as long as I can remember

I am not the father, but as a mother/parent, it's quite difficult to tell children of that age what to wear. I try to throw stories to my daughter about pervs etc., in hope for her to see what's what. She is a sensible girl. She doesn't wear extra-ordinarily revealing stuff, anyway.
I remember my father saying something to me once when I was 14-15. I got dressed to go to the cinema. I put on a skimpy top. My father said very normally and quietly to me " You are going to watch the film, not to become the film, are you?
" I did not change my top, no way! Yet I got the messege, and I appreciate him for making me aware LOL

My experience is that it usually mums that set the guidelines and that from about 12 onwards it's hopeless trying to buy clothes that you think she will like. However the real influence, IMHO, is the peer group she mixes with. If you let her hang around (I am sure you don't btw) with a group of 15 year old junior chavs then she is going to want tarty clothes. White top - black bra etc.
It's the age old gentle guidance and that fine line, walking on eggshells routine that parents have to put up with. Dad can have a limited say in the matter. But of course if you over do it WW3 breaks out. My daughter's (21) friends seem to prefer tight blue jeans........ (looks for something to mop brow).

I have a 15 year old stepdaughter, and if she goes out looking like a cheap hooker, I tell her !! Having said that last time I took her shopping she had me buying the most minuscule pair of shorts I've ever seen
I tend to let her wear what she wants, I wouldn't categorically say she couldn't go out dressed a certain way. Besides, I've all on keeping the little **** away from my vodka to be worried about her wardrobe !!

i once asked one of my mates if he worried about his 17 year old daughter when she was out ?? and he said " i have tried to raise her as best as i can and you have just got to let go and hope you have done your best " this goes with dress sense !! just because she is dressed in skimpy gear it doesnt mean there would be anything happening with any men you have just got to hope she was raised right
