Technomate 9100

I want to descramble the scrambled channels.
I got a standard SKY dish & with that I can pick up lots of different satalites but I have no idea as to what channels are broadcast on what satalite.
How does this Cardsharing work & what are CAMs Emulators & KEY's
The jargon busting is a real nightmare!

O.k a lot of questions
I assume that you have a sky mini dish this dish is what they call fixed. It is fixed to 28.2 degrees east which enable's it to recieve channels from the ASTRA 2 sattalite which sky u.k broadcast on. The sky channels are odviously encrypted however they use one of the most advanced type of encryption systems available and as yet it has not been hacked cracked whatever you want to call it.What you should be able to recieve once you have done a search on the reciever are FTA or free to air channels ( channels with no encryption) unfortunately they aren't much cop on astra 2 ( or any other sat come to mention it) stuff like religious channels , foreign news , shopping channels.
If you are recieving the astra sat you should be able to watch sky sports news as it has no encryption is this the case.
As far as watching subscription tv free of charge it can be done but you will need a 80cm dish ideally one that is motorised so it can turn to different sats and a CAM this is inserted into one of the slots in the technomate. A programmer to programme the cam with the latest software this will enable you to watch pay tv from spain germany poland to name but a few.
Hope that helps

Something to do with a deal they signed with sky called freesat can't remember the details but you are correct they are encrypted. If you decide to take the hobby and buy motorised dish let me know and i'll explain how to program and use cams and which are the best ones to buy(there are lots)
Try Wizard Satellite, Satellite receivers, dishes, lnbs and equipment they are pretty good

Thanks very much for all your help.
Could you tell me what satellites I should be able to pick up using my standard SKY dish & what channels are broadcast on them?
Also, would you explain how CAMs work & which would be the best to descramble all the subscription channels, assuming I bought an 80cm motorized dish of course.
You can PM me if you prefer as I know people don't like discussing this type of stuff.
