MTB thread - for a change...
Using the Cycle 2 Work scheme to order a couple of bikes - Wife and I will share them but we need a "city" bikes for imminent sproggage!

why a city bike? you can get a child seat on a mountain bike. Can't put little babies in though.
I got a city bike a couple of years ago, and hated the postision after 18 years on a mountain bike (and a very sore *rse !)
Stumpy Comp is excellent, though I got the FSR version for said sore posterior.

Whittle - We have a spare MTB if we both want to go out.
The Globe has a decent rack, lights, etc all fitted and is good on the road - What it'll mainly be used for.
