.....new car coming ....(in fact I believe its already here)...due to take delivery 01/03/2002!!! ...just purchased a new plate for it....
UK02 WRC
I think it might look quite smart on the WRX STI TYPE UK Prodrive Style, in blue... ...obviously fully sign written in true "Rum" style ready for the Cat!!
Bring it on!
Happy New Year and all that...

Nah...7oaks weren't prepared to offer enough on the UK300....or more to the point they were having a giggle when they offered me £18,000!!!!!!!
New ones coming via K T Greens ....made a bit more sense to go local this time...
Re the plate....ummmm...it cost a wee bit ...DVLA have a few to choose from....either UK02 or MY02....then obviously either SRT, WRX, etc....or even RUM ....decided to keep "P1RUM" on retainer for a while....and will run with the new plate for a while...
I can't wait for the new one...as I said above, once its sign written etc...I think it will look the part...

sasman,
yup,
arrived on the boat 23/12/01 ...
a couple of weeks to sort out the IM stuff....I'm away for a few weeks after that....a wee while to sign write it...roll cage it....then maybe a wee trip to TSL to sort a few bits out...then the Cat
DVLA are ***'s, when you do a search on their site you'll find that certain reg no's are available....go back 10 mins later, and they've vanished! I ended up calling them and they confirmed that the ones I wanted were still ok to buy...whoops...sold to the sucker called Rum*...he he he

Hi Tom
Also getting my new motor 01/03/2002 Just a standard WRX not the STi
Bought a reg plate for it back in November...
MY02 WRX
Cost me £799 from the DVLA. The same reg plate at other companies / websites was an extra 200 quid! For the exact same reg...
Cheeky buggers didnt even own it and were charging the extra
Anyway, I will be getting in touch with you about insurance for the WRX. What is the best time to get it sorted I dont want to leave it too late.
There will be two of us wanting policies as my business partner is also getting a WRX at the same time (him WRBlue me Silver)
Cheers

Bob,
The best thing to do is call us beginning of Feb (if I'm still away speak to John or Dean in the office - 0113 250 0377) and we will try and sort something out for you...
Cheers
