Stag Night on a budget
Guys,
I need some ideas for a stag night but for various reasons many of the blokes going wont be looking to spend a wad of cash so that rules out the typical weekends to pargue/poland so Im after ideas closer to home, anyone help?
Additionally on the night what sort of pranks/tricks did you play on the groom (apart from stripping bollock naked and tying him to a lampost!)
Any opinions/comments greatly appreciated!
Cheers
Gary

Mini bus to Newcastle and a hotel for the night? Spend the day drinking in Whitly bay having drinking games like you can only drink with your left hand, anyone caught drinking out of their right hand has to finish the drink they currently have in one go makes for some funny times. Just basically do a **** up in a different place tbh.
Oh then stick him on the ferry to Holland or something when he falls asleep

Dont come to Newcastle, stag doo's are no longer welcome. To many part time drinkers in the bars now getting in the way of us Geordies.
PS
If you do come to Newcastle be sure to get dressed up or all where the same wacky T-shirts, that way the doorman know your all together and wont let you's in the bars..................................

I had my stag in April and it was top class.
We went to the Gower and stayed in an outdoor persuits centre. On route to the Gower we went mountain biking in Afan Forest then did 'coasteering' on the Saturday. Instructors were provided and they offered all sorts of activities. There was a pub in the village, a great beach and all meals provided.
For the Saturday (party) night, we went to Mumbles (nr Swansea but not as agro) and tried our best to do the famous mumbles mile pub crawl!
All in all a great weekend and it cost just £110 per person (plus beer tokens), all in for Friday - Monday.
Not everyones cuppa but I enjoyed it and so did the boys. PM me if you want the details of where we stayed - I can recommend it!!

I'll second York, organised a stag do there last year, great weekend
Just thinking about what we spent, we could have been away to Prague or Dublin though.

Dublin is tbh a waste of space, went here a few years ago and could not get in hardly anywhere, the doormen even radioed ahead to the other bars to tell them not to let us in

Mine was at Blackpool. Can't really go wrong with that.
Well mine could. Two best men. Couldn't organise a "p1ss up in Blackpool"
10 years later - still sore about it
Still, nice to see some of the people who came
Dan (still bitter about that one!! )

i second blackpool, the place may be a bit of a dive but its a bloody good laugh, tower lounge on a saturday afternoon is heaving with stag and hen parties, women dressed with next to nothing on, anything goes , within reason,
we went there once and we were in sydicates nightclub the one where the dance floor revolves, one of the lads was stood on the edge of it for a while when suddenly he turned round and thought wed all gone , it took him ages tpo find us, it wasnt us that had moved it was him,lol
another time we were in the palace club on sat night when all of a sudden there was a big ring on the upstairs dancefloor, my god there was one of our lads stood there with his trousers round his ankles and a girl knelt infront of him, ill let you decide the rest,
all in all its a cracking weekend there.

Attended a stag do in Blackpool 2 years ago (September time). Wasn't looking forward to it really. When we got there and went out it was a great laugh. As mentioned above, loads of other Stag/Hen dos. Lots of friendly people. I remember on the Saturday being in a bar above Coral Island. The dj shouted "first on the dancefloor with their **** out gets a bottle of bubbly". There was a group of young girls with some older women (I'd guess their mothers/Aunts etc). The older women all got their **** out! Great for 2pm on a Saturday!
Last month went on a stag weekend up North Yorks. tour of Masham Brewery and Black Sheep on the Friday. Saturday we travelled down to Sheffield. A good night out there.
Remember, all you need is a good group of lads to have a laugh with and someone with a camera!
