you have a P910i yet save contact to the sim? madness. Why people save to their SIm now unless they swap it about a lot is beyond me. so limited.
Just use the docking station and sync your contacts with the PC. basic stuff that.
software to do it is on the SE site.

I used to have a P910i but cant remember exactly what to do but in the contacts manager I'm sure there is an option to copy all to Phone from SIM for example. Even if you end up with duplicate contacts you can delete and edit them later on the PC once backed up.
you just sync your contacts with outlook, notes or express depending on what you use.
If it's to transfer to a new phone the P910i will even allow you to send all your contacts to it via bluetooth.
I'd hazard a guess that you've only used 10% of what the phone is capable of?

If so download the drivers for it from the link I posted.
download the phone suite on the same link.
put phone in docking station.
PC detects phone.
I'd then create a backup of the phone in case you do anything wrong. RIGHT CLICK>BACKUP
once that's complete then sync the phone with the email client you use. Do you have outlook?
It will then copy the names and numbers from the phone to Outlook.
done
