Default Looking for the pictures of a jet fighter taken from inside a Hercules

At least I think it was a Hercules. They were either posted on here or linked to another forum from here, the pictures show a close-up view of a fighter (scarily close) during a photoshoot, taken from the load deck of the transport plane.

I've tried searching on Google, but can't seem to find the pictures, anyone recall the ones I mean ?

Ive been on the look out for these too

Someone posted a link to an army/raf sort of site, where there was a thread showing the pics

The ones where you can see the raf dudes in the back of the Hercules, litterally feet away from the nose of the fighter

Great pics, hope someone can post em up again

Haven't got any from a Herc, although I've been in the back with the ramp down whilst being followed... quite an impressive experience.

However I've got these that I took of our F3's being refuelled on the way back from the US:

Aha, found 'em with a bit more searching:

Typhoon Up Close and Personal - Military Photos

It was knowing it was a Typhoon that made it easier.... thanks to Simon.

Wouldn't have fancied being the techies responsible for going over the inside of that Herc with a fine toothed comb to ensure there was no loose articles lurking about... having that thing parked there is like having a ******* huge vacuum cleaner up ya rear end! :s

Leslie probably has some stories he can tell, but they always made me laugh when on a refuelling trail. The pilots would pull some stunts to make H&S or air traffic's hair curl when out over the Atlantic. Apparently they get bored you see.. while were all flying in "luxury" they're couped for hours, so they play these little games to amuse themsleves. Pretty dangerous really.. but they were quite impressive. Doing stuff like trying to squeeze the Tornado between the wing and the tailplane, so they could get a better look at the **** mags being held at the Tristar windows Or getting within wingtip touching distance then doing a barrel role over the top to the other wing! ******* bonkers!!

Edit; Hehe just seen a post in that thread that made me laugh.. has a point though, wondering if the radar was turned off... I would hope so or those cameramen won't be having kids anytime soon!

Those are pretty impressive pictures. Yes it can get pretty boring and uncomfortable sitting in something like that on a long trip and we did indeed tend to get up to a bit of mischief at times to help the time to go by.

I would imagine H & S aren't be too happy with most of the stuff the RAF gets up too, especially if you look at the avoiding (or not) enemy missiles bit

Those are cool photo's of the Typhoon I bet it would've only taken the merest of twitches on the throttle to have buried it in the back of the Herc Try explaining that to the boss

Not entirely sure, but that looks like the back of a C-17, but sure there are people here to could be more positive/negative about that than me.
