Talking Decent Hotels near Sepang Circuit (Malaysia)

Whilst I'm sort of in the right part of the world, I've decided that I may as well go to the Australian & Malaysian rounds of this year's MotoGP championship. The flights are sorted, the accomodation at the Aussie end is sorted and I've got a good line on tickets for both weekends (aren't customers brilliant).
The only thing now outstanding is somewhere to sleep in Malaysia, and having no prior personal experience of that immediate area, I thought I'd throw the subject open to the SN massive, just on the off chance that someone on here has been there before

Easy options are to either stay in Kuala Lumpur and get a taxi to the circuit every day cheaply. Or stay at the pan pacific hotel at the airport.

I think on the Sepang circuit website there are links to hotels, but not sure if it has changed since I last looked at it.

I thought about staying in KL Boarder, but when I've been there (to KL) before it's always seemed like quite a long time between passing the Sepang turning and entering the capital.

I design equipment for a company that builds dry materials handling systems Kiwi.
Out of interest what on earth could I be doing here that could be deemed confidential

Selling fake gear on ebay, working in a boiler-room, making adult films/photos, working without a visa etc.

There seem to be very few positions for genuine westerner over there, it's usually illegal as above or they teach English, run a bar etc.

You'd be surprised Kiwi, legitimately employed Westerners, especially British, Belgian and German, are more prevalent than you'd think, especially in the petro-chemical and food industries. Mainly due to most of the companies in those fields being either European owned or backed

Reputably employed Americans and Russians on the other hand, are somewhat thinner on the ground

PS: For the record, I myself have a Visa, a Work Permit, a Driving Licence, and even a Motorcycle licence And let me tell you, the later was far easier and cheaper to obtain than it's British equivalent
