There is logic - once up and rolling there will be hardly any frictional losses from the rock solid contact strips thus power at the tarmac will be greater

Maybe they hears the term 'Spinners', but missed the rest of the conversation.

with proper wheels, those Nivas are pretty handy off road. Would embarass most current 'off roaders'
