I know some of you guys out there know a bit about PCs and I was looking for some help.

I've got versions 1 and 2 of the above and I also have a Guillemot steering wheel which connects via a USB. It used to work fine but now whenever the wheel is connected the sound goes all crackly and distorted. Then as soon as you disconnect the wheel, the sound is fine again. I suspect it may have something to do with the analogue or digital settings or something but I'm not sure. If anyone can help I'd be grateful.

Merry Xmas All.

These thing happen sometimes. Usually after something new has been installed on the system.

First thing I'd do would be to remove the steering wheel from the system, and then reinstall it. It might not be a bad idea to do the same with CM games. I remember having to reinstall CM1 a couple of times over the years.
