Greatest Driving Film Ever
Fellas,
In your opinion what is the best driving scene in a film. There's some pretty good ones and by this thread we should learn of some more. My favourite is Ronin and what's the film where Jakie Chan is Driving the white Evo?
Thanks,
Alexppp

Ronin - agree completely. Played on a decent DD system with a good sub, and TV and it blows anyway anything with continuous action for a good number of minutes. Mind blowing in many ways...

Ronin did not end satisfactorily though - great film that runs out of steam.
Great car scene is the opening minutes of Subway where the big Merc chases the Pug 205 GTI around Paris. Brilliant and not often seen.

The Spy Who Loved Me
NOTHING tops the scene where the Lotus Esprit splashes down and turns into an underwater sub!

As somebody who totally hates films I got a chance to see what all the fuss was about with just the car chase in 'Ronin' when a pal had the dvd in his car on a visit to my place.
Well, what a pile of shíte! It was embarrassing to watch and looked like a sped up cartoon, I thought.

Spoon, its all about the camera angles and sounds from the cars. There is a great 1 hour documentry on the making of Ronin's car chase.
It gets my vote anyway.
