The Butterfly Effect (2004)
Anyone seen it? Any good?
It sounds promising but a second opinion would be handy before I spend 100mins of my life watching it.
Cheers.

It's not really confusing, its just got a few gaping holes in the plot is all ! Not a bad film though. Just watched 'This is England' tonight all about 80s skinheads it was great !

Butterfly Effect is pretty good and worth watching, I prefer the alternate ending (directors cut) quite different from the Theatrical release
Ive heard BE 2 is nowhere near as good, and preferably one to be missed

I loved Butterfly effect, its definately one of my favorite films. I dont understand how people found it confusing though, seemed straight forward to me.
Butterfly Effect 2 is utter tosh. I fell asleep about 45minutes into it, I didnt intend on watching it again as I had no interest at all in it and I'll watch almost anything.

So the bit at the end where he stangles himself in his mothers womb (as its the only way to stop his friends being hurt) ... is that the directors cut or the cheesey made for TV ending?

The same goes for their waffle breakfasts, so the 'american' ending.... is it all happy everafter then?.... boy saves girl, gets married, have kids, invades arab country, rescues oil, saves US economy?

The cheesy ending is the one where he tells what's her face to sod off as a kid and then they pass each other in the street as grown ups and give each other the eye. Lame.
