Red face R/C Cars...I'm About to Buy This...

...Traxxas T-Maxx 2.5

eBay.co.uk: Traxxas T-MAXX 2.5R RTR (Silver) (item 260121930703 end time 03-Jun-07 16:47:55 BST)

Can anyone suggest a good reason why I don't ?

Budget was about £300 but this seems to fit the bill for much less...there's a new 3.3 version but I don't think I'll cope with that power

The last time I had an r/c car I vowed never to have one again (they can be very "trying" at times !) but after seeing this baby I don't think I can help myself

I did the same last year and got a HPI Savage. Prob cost nearer £450 once you buy a load of fuel, chargers, hump packs etc. Was great fun and the sounds is quality. Got to winter and I didnt bother taking it out. Always something that needs tweaking with a Nitro car. Sold it a couple of months back as was just gathering dust in the garage and I needed cash for a new wakeboard

Not to put a dampener on your boys toys purchase but Id say unless you have a mate or two who you can race with etc then youll get bored like me and end up selling it.

The Revo is a great car, 3.3 is the one, lot's more power for acceleration although similar top speed to the 2.5.
