I did wing chun kung-fu four nights a week for around a year. I then just couldnt find the time to keep up the same amount of training. To become competent in it or a similar martial art you really have to put the hours in.
Are you asking for advice what martial art people recommend or is just as simple as 'anyone on here do kung fu and own a subaru?'
edit: Bah

I did Wing Chun too but after many years kickboxing (and competing in some quite big comps) I found that even thought it's VERY effective, there just wasn't enough physical workout involved and half the reason I did KBing was to keep fit - and ended up teaching the exercise side of it (then my instructor taught techniques - I helped out a bit).
Shame as it does seem very useful

It really is the quickest way from A-B in the Martial Art world. Don't really have to keep fit just keep conditioned. There is nothing that keeps you fitter than KB as half the battle is being fitter enough to do it

Ooh great minds there...
Maybe i should start taking a small kettle and teapot on nights out, just in case. That'll learn 'em!
I do think martial art is full of interesting ideas, but I'm a bit too old to start now. Besides, my gongfu tea style still needs work...
