Read about this earlier in the week. Apparently it's a form of entertainment in that country 
The snake had had it's fangs removed and it's mounth sewn up for this ordeal. Hopefully it's fangs will grow back soon and it will bite the **** out of whoever captured it for this barbaric crap.

I thought I'd seen everything, but that was fecking unbelievable.
Didn't realise it's fangs were missing when I watched it, so was thinking why the **** doesn't the cameraman at least distract it. Didn't occur to me that it was some form of sick sport.

Freaky isn't it. Someone sent me the link the other day and I was watching it thinking omg, wtf etc. I assumed there was some trickery going on as the baby didn't seem overly bothered.

Mate went to one of those backward countries. They shove "some rodent" into a snake pen for kicks. Its totally immune to the venom of the snakes, and it just systematically goes around ripping the fangs out of the snakes' head. 
Then, once the snakes are harmless the owners toss them into the crowd and laugh at all the westerners who run off screaming.
Said rodent may have been a mongoose or something like that, don't quote me on that last bit though please

Mongooses arnt rodents. Theyre not immune to the poison either.

I'm not even going to watch that video clip after reading this....I agree with the comment about the kissing and this being acceptable. The double standards are incredible.
