Where to eat in London tomorrow night?
Just realised I've not booked anywhere to eat Saturday night in London!
Not normally a problem but its our wedding anniversary Saturday and we're in London from Friday to Monday, seeing a show and doing the tourist thing.
But where to eat saturday night?
Would prefer Japanese, Mexican, Austrian or something quite different as long as the food is tasty and good value (£50 per head)
Not wanting a jacket and tie place but don't want a big mac either!
Any ideas ?

Smiths is indeed nice. You might also try:
Matsuri - Japanese, pretty good
Hakkasan - great but you might be lucky to get a table
Oxo Tower? Good views, bit special in location if not perhaps food.
Thamesa - next door and more casual, not as high up either.

Had a great time in London, did all the usual tacky touristy stuff and loved every minute of it.
Ended up in a spanish place for our anniversay and it brought back memories of our time in Barcelona. Food/drink/service/atmosphere were all spot on
Cant renmember the name of the place though, or where it was?
All I remember is the taxi back to the hotel cost a small fortune, but the vast quantities of alcohol numbed the pain.
Never before have we crammed so much into so few days, I'm knackered now and having a few days off work.
Best things is, we go away for another long weekend on Friday!
(but not to London)
