Washine Machine Help ?
#2
they can't force you to buy a certain machine. If your washing machine is in full working order and installed correctly then you have done your bit.
If the spin is so bad that it makes ceilings fall apart then it's a fault with the machine which the insurnace should cover. But if it is as above it's not really your problem as you have taken all the steps you can to ensure it's correct workings. Sounds like the flat below had a poor ceiling fitted.

Washine machine sits on a wooden floor in the spot preset by the Lard lord when he designed the kitchen.
Dunno what to do then, probably best just buying a new one.

I would recomend that you buy the cheapest Miele you can find.
As I understand it they are built to a different standard than most other washing machines. They have a heavy steel outer chassis (instead of a block of cement like most others) so they dont shake very much. They have a stainless outer tub (instead of plastic like most others) so they last for 20 years and they have drum bearings from a car.
Mine is completely silent during the washing cycle (you can just hear the faintest water sound) and is still very quiet during full spin.

Seriously though, if the ceiling is falling apart then it will be covered by the building insurance or maintained as part of the ongoing costs of the building, it's not like your machine leaked and weakened the ceiling. Unless they can prove it was your machine that broke the ceiling they can't make you do anything.
I may be buying one soon as I'm sure the whole building can hear my machine trying to take off

No no no - THAT'S the magic floor all kids have - right until they leave home and suddenly realise it doesn't magically move the dirty smelly crap on the floor and turn it into clean pressed laundry
