Quick Sky question
I'm trying to use the second RF output of the Sky box to run another remote TV with magic eye. At the moment nothing is showing on this second TV with the coaxials plugged in.
Is there something I have to do to the Sky box to activate the second RF output?
Thanks

Is there any kind of signal splitter / distibution box between the output of the Sky box and the cable to the 2nd TV?
If so, this needs to be Magic Eye compatible (i.e. it needs to allow DC propagation).
A "passive" signal splitter (i.e. not powered) is unlikely to propagate DC and would explain the non-working Eye. It would also explain the poor picture quality.

Have you tuned the relevant channel on your 2nd tv so it's the same as the ouput RF channel on the Sky box.
EG your RF out may be set to 21, tune your tv to channel 21.

Yes, there is a splitter under the floor somewhere! That could well be the answer. I had the splitter fitted when I wasn't sure where the tv would go in the kitchen so had a feed to two sides of the kitchen. I don't need it anymore and so will just remove it.
Thanks to everyone for their help but I have a feeling this is most probably the problem.

Right, still can't get the bloody thing to work!!
Just to be clear.
1) I have Sky box in lounge. I have connected coax cable to RF2 and have enabled the power to this outlet. The coax cable runs under the floor and there is one male to female connection used to lengthen this cable. There was a splitter here which I have removed as adviced above.
2) This coax cable then connects to a wall mounted tv socket into which I connect my tv via another short length of coax.
3) The tv has the correct channel tuned and I am picking up a decent picture and sound signal.
But the majic eye won't light up!!
Someone has told me that majic eyes are not compatible with wall mounted sockets ie I should have just had straight cable. Is this true?
In which case I've cocked everything up. The floor is laid and the walls all decorated in the kitchen (where tv is) so don't want to start drilling holes in it!
Thanks

you have too many 'breaks in the cable.. Ideal scenario is to have a single , continual run from rear of Digibox to remote eye due to having a 9V supply running to it! if you have joins in the cable, the voltage will dissipate , therefore not reaching its intended goal of powering the remote eye sufficiently
