Default Bestaway Pools

Got a 12ft one & set it up last week in the field nearest some power, got one of them heater for it & noticed on sunday morning that it was taking the chill from the water, collected my 8 yr old from School today & he jumped into it earlier expecting it to be freezing ... bloody hell it was like jumping into a warm bath.
He's still in it just now, jumping from the trampoline into it ... brilliant laugh

Honest, it was red hot outside but the pool was flipping freezing. Kids were fine with it, but not me. I like heat

Ive got a 35ft indoor pool, gas heated with a Teledyne laars boiler, inline chemical dispenser.

I hate it, waste of money, infact I cant remember the last time I used it, or heated the f**king thing up.

My mate had a paddling pool last year about 8-10 ft across and two ft deep...

We warmed it up by trumping in it and throwing bbq food in it... HTH

Yes, I want to know the running costs too.

I'm after one for my 'splash' pool - 12" diameter. You can rekon on about 7p per kWh, so about £5 per day to run if left on all the time. I spoke to a supplier and all they could advise was that it'd take 48 hours to heat up then depending on how warm you wanted it, it could be £2 - £4 per day.

Does this seem about right?
