Heres some headlines to worry you....
Hackers have stolen information from at least 45.7 million payment cards
The data was accessed on TJX's systems in Watford, Hertfordshire, and Massachusetts over a 16-month period from July 2005 and covers transactions made by credit and debit card dating as far back as December 2002

As said on the other thread - why, oh, why is this in the BBC headlines today. It is such an OLD story. This has been going on for months and months now. Pretty much ALL cards in the US have been replaced because of this incident.
Not sure why the story has resurfaced.
PS I wonder how Kiwi knows it is a chav emporium ;-)

I think the timing has to do with statements made to the NY stock exchange. They have had to make provisions for upgrades / legal fees of $5million in their annual report.
