Default selling scams...!!!

just put my bike up for sale on bike trader and had this e-mail...

I'm David .I am interested in your[BIKE]and I'll like to know your last offering price and to see the pics or to know the condition if it will be okay with me.I'll be making my payment with a bank draft .If you do I want you to get in touch with me immediately for me to proceed with the Payment. probably wouldnt have spotted it had i not been observant of the mass paranoia on this forum during my time here...

if you know it is a scam is there anyway to get the wedge out of these people and never sell the car/bike etc?
