Question Car radio with bluetooth

I'm looking to buy a cheap one for my van, not bothered about it being a 'good named' just one that works.
Has one one got one and what are they like?

I looked at the stereo option but plummed for one of these. Great unit and fitting was straight forward. Nice and discreet and sounds perfect (incoming/ outgoing).

Worth a thought unless you are after a new head unit as well.

Well I have the Sony MEX-BT5000 and I have to say it's excellent, all of the reviews I have read say the same as well. The bluetooth works perfectly, either of my phones just synch with the head unit when I get in or out of the car and the sound clarity from the built in mic is spot on, not had any complaints from people saying they can't hear me etc and that's even while driving a noisy scoob quite hard. I've found it also "just works" with whatever phone I've used.

Also like the A2DP bluetooth music streaming, just load up the phone with MP3's (limited by the memory card size) and stream them to the HU.

Many of the reviews I have read also highly rate this unit for audio quality when compared to other units in a similar price band, an interesting feature that I like was the BBE MP, which dynamically "reworks" MP3's to fill in the audio caused by lossy compression.

The only downside that I can see with this unit is the lack of a single bass & treble control, with these features being taken care of than the more than adequate EQ.

On top of that it looks good as well

Johnny if U are looking for a real budget alternative, Tevion do a cheap version, full bluetooth(V1.2) and aux input for MP3 etc, should be around £80.00, if its just for a van and U dont want an expensive H/U it may do the job.

HTH.
