LG Chocolate Phones
Anyone got one?
Went to buy one for my daughter today and the helpful chappie in the Carphone Warehouse said that they had problems with the 'Heat Sensitive' keypad ...... not a Technical problem - just one where people cannot get on with the pad.
Even to the point of - when talking on the phone, the heat from your cheek somtimes cancels the call or accesses some other function.
I'm sure there must be people here who have one - what do you reckon?

I've had one since December last year, and have had no problems like that. The one thing that does bother me is the screen wipe (phone charm) you get with it - it only cleans the screen properly for the first week or so. After that, it's greasy (from wiping fingers marks etc) from the screen. I work for Orange and we had LG in doing a roadshow for the staff a couple of weeks ago and I asked about getting a replacement, but they don't do them!
Hope this helps a bit

My wife has the Samsung E500 thingy with the heat sensitive keypad......whenever I use it all I do is hover my finger over one of the cancel pads and I'm left with a blank screen
The girls at work are talking about a silver LG phone at the moment !!

LG shine is apparently an excellent phone ..... it is £200 on PAYG.
Daughter liked the LG Chocolate ..... was going to get it for her until the salesman said that the heat sensitive keys are not to everyones taste.

i got mine for xmas and it's UTTER ****E!
the pad is sometimes too sensitive, then not sensitive enough - you cant set your own message tones, the memory sucks ***
IMO our lasses Samsung D900 is WAY better, and if you still need touch screen then get the E900

Well, got a Sony Ericsson W850i today ...... well, got it free on contract actually
Came with £100 Credit, Sony Speakers, BlueTooth Headset, Car Charger, Unlimited Texts and 600 minutes free ...... for £35 a month - as she was spending £40 a month on her old Motorola PAYG it seems a sensible way to go! Most of the free stuff was thrown in when we asked for her PAC so we could go to VodaFone
No-one liked the LG Chocolate .................
