C02 powered BB Guns - Legal in UK?
Hi,
Out in USA at mo and have come across some C02 powered BB guns which would make a pretty good present for a pal who is into that sort of thing. Has checked with airline and they are ok as long as the handset goes in the hold and the C02 goes in the cabin. I just dunno if it would get taken away on arrival in UK? It's not a huge amount of money (£70 all in) but I'd rather not waste it if they would deffo be not allowed into the UK.
Can anyone advise ?

Hello
Yes, they are legal. Although watch out for the power limit. Approximately 580 fps for an air pistol and 850 fps for a rifle. The ones I saw in Walmart were hovering around that limit, but they also had cheap air rifles that were 1000+ fps.
Edit: And they are MUCH cheaper than here.
