Sleep. Do you get enough?
The general consensus is you need at least eight hours daily. How many people actually get that? What is the average most people get and what is the bare minimum one can get away with?

I get more in the winter months, generally I go to bed when I am tired and wake up when I am ready - about once a week I need to set an alarm clock for something and then find I wake up literally one minute before anyway.
I would say anywhere between 7 and 9 hours normally.

I don't really get enough. I go to bed between 8:30pm and 9:00pm, and get up at 4:00am.

Very rarely get anymore than 7 hours and thats at the weekend. Average during the week is between 5 and 6 hours. Have had nights of only 3 hours sleep and gone to work feeling rough but coffee always seems to be the saviour. On the odd occasion I get 8 hours I feel so much better for it

Hmm seems very few get the eight hours minimum. I am lucky to get eight hours meself, go to bed about elevinish and am up at quarter to seven. The odd thing is during the week when it's workdays it takes an almighty effort to haul oneself out of bed. However at the weekend I find I'm wide awake at seven! The other annoying thing is if I don't get to sleep at a particular time i.e elevenish or so then I can lie awake for ages counting sheep.

The last time the meteors came, we thought the sky was on fire. Naturally, we blamed the Irish. We hanged more 'n a few.

I heard someone once say,
"Sleep is death's evil cousin, so i'm keeping my eyes wide open"
Quite thought provoking I think!
