I got a reverse charge call yesterday evening. I couldn't make out who it was from, so in case it was someone I knew in trouble I accepted it.

It was someone claiming to be from Setanta Sports chasing me for an unpaid subscription of £35.25 and threatening me with an £80 late payment charge

Trouble is, I am not and never have been a customer of Setanta Sports. If I want to watch sport I do it on Council TV

But I have now been stung for the cost of a reverse charge call

Anyone heard of this practice before, or was it someone taking the p1ss?

And anyone know of a customers services number for Setanta? That isn't an 0870 rip off number?
