well
bit of a contentious one this
i know akinwale quite well and used to see him around st helens a lot
he is not the demonized beast the papers will have you believe but rather is a well educated lucid individual. he did however have a "thing " for various guys i knew . Mark Livesey in particular

Very famous round Tellins too. I know lads who have battered him and I know lads who have run away in fear...
A frequent sight in Tellins town centre in years gone by...
I was amazed when on our hols in Newquay a few years back we were messing about with these Middlesborough birds and a guy who looked like Candyman walked past and one of the girls said "**** me haway man spuggy he looks like Purple Aki, I'm off the the grove to tell Geoff", or something like that...
Either way we were amazed he was infamous so far afield...
Whenever news of his jail term and various behaviour orders come out, it is always carried in our local papers e.g.
Purple Aki Banned From Touching Muscles (from St Helens Star)

He chased a mate of mines son a few years ago,so mate went round and knocked him clean out,and I thought learning karate(3rd dan) was a waste of time ,but in this case not .

when i was a kid (not so long ago) we used to be scared of him only seen him once and that was enough he was someone to be afraid of back then but im sure there are bigger people and harder people out there now.
