Post redirection
Moving to rented next week for 3 months then new build in June. Was planning on redirecting post to rental then to new house when moved in. Was not going to bother updating addresses with CC/etc until then. Would that be ok?

Until you want to buy on CC over the phone and want something delivered to your rental address which will be different from your card address and may cause problems. dl

Be aware re-direction takes about a week to set up, or if you use my old post office about 9 days.
I'd get it done now, if only to catch any you don't change or that get missed. You can change a redirection to another address too when you move to your proper house.

There are organisations that you are legally obliged to inform of change of address:
Car insurance
DVLA
Inland Revenue
TV licensing
Council Tax
etc.
By the time you've done them you might as well do the lot.

Hey Matt didn't you say you were renting somewhere near me for a while?
Last night there was some drunken tw@t trying to get into a house just behind mine at 2.39am, I was wondering if it was you coming home from the Monk?
It started with lots of knocking on the door, which got louder and louder to the point it woke me up. Then progressed to lots of hammering and beating, and then what sounded like kicking, and finally some painful sounding shoulder charging.
All was unsuccessful at breaching the door, so the perpetrator then sat on my back wall trying to call people on his/her mobile. Fortunately it was on speakerphone and very loud volume so I could hear all of this from my bed, I never heard their voice (too drunk maybe) but the annoyed shouting and abuse from the people he/she called was quite entertaining - or it would have been if I'd not being trying to sleep.
Then after a period of quiet the perp went back to unsuccessful and painful sounding shoulder charging. I was quite tempted to pop outside, and chuck a rock through the windscreen of the copper living just around the corner - then sitting back to watch the show.
