Contaminated Esso fuel - High Wycombe ??
Yo, mum's Saxo has just gone into the garage due to rough running and they have said that it is the o2 sensor and that they have had many more cars than normal getting o2 sensors this week. The fuel is being tested but the dealer has said that the common link between them is that all of them had refueled recently using a particular Esso garage in High Wycombe.
Anybody heard anything about this as she aint impressed having to get the car sorted as it is being traded next week !!
Thanks

Not heard anything but filled my car up at Esso in Marlow yesterday, and today I had the distinct impression it was running a bit 'chuggy'... got me a bit worried now

Sorry for the delay, I am not going to mention the specific one but it is at a location where there is a Shell garage very close and a couple of roundabouts !! Trading standards are on the case and we are dealing with Esso direct.
