Hi guy's.. I wanted to know when did the tesco petrol nightmare actually really happen? Was it on the 19/02/2007? Can someone pls remind me the proper dates as my car is not working properly use to the petrol but I have loads of paper work to prove it.. Just trying to find the right one...

will they double check their CCTV and the till receipts to check that a claim is genuine? I reccon many scammers will be wanting to chance this. Claiming for expensive work on a car they dont own etc. Tescos need to be well on the ball.

naa ive got all the receipts which is like 4 of them for 4 different days worth.. but i jst need 2 know which days this all happered on b'cos my car's really been playing up & its stoped working after so ive not driven it.. its parked up & ive been using the train 2 work during that time...

So theres no scamming from me or me trying 2 claim anything ..

They give a list of the affected stations . Dont know exactly what the parameters date wise are at hte moment - i bought tesco fuel on the 16 th and it started coughing ( such as i became aware ) on the 19th .

No mention of date though. First reports in the news were around the 28th though, so a week or so before then?

Sounds too much of a coincidence.... is it the oxygen sensor thats gone?
