Since I need it for next year's OU course, I'm finally about to take the plunge and get connected to the internet at home (rather than do all my surfing at work) so...
Anyone got any advice on which ISP I should be looking at? As yet, I don't think I'll be online for hours at a stretch, so I'm not sure about going for anything other than through a normal phone line.
Tony.

www.net4nowt.co.uk for some good ISP discussions. I personally would steer clear of any ISP asking for a years subscription up front. They have a nasty habit of going bust a few months later...
I personally use Freeserve anytime £12.99 / Month (no Call Charges) on ISDN and am happy with them.
