Following on from the other thread,

Having experienced major delays for the last 2 days at this location, I thought I would do some digging around to find out why, I was not impressed at what I found.

It would seem that the powers that be have decided that as this junction is a potential rat run, they are putting in a trial that has narrowed the access to the M25 from the A41/A405 anticlockwise to one lane. The change looks likely to be permanent, so if you go through this neck of the wood you have the highways agency to thank for your huge delays. I pass through there at 7.30am each day and instead of taking 5 mins to navigate from the A405, right onto the A41 towards aylesbury it now takes 25mins at 7.30am. Heaven knows what its like later on as the traffic builds.

Edit to add, until recently this access was 3 lanes wide, and was only recently reduced to 2.
