A critic in the Times today was expressing his disappointment at Ellen de Generes' performance as the host of the Academy Award ceremony.
Two of his leading candidates were Ricky Gervais (surreal) and Russell Brand (bizarre). I guess he did not watch the Brit Awards then!

Ah yes Russell Brand, his only talent to have the tw@ttiest hair in showbusiness... Makes the top 3 in my celebrity shootlist every time
