Default First Records you ever Bought ?

Now I cannot be sure as to which was the first, I think this was the order,

1 Musical Youth, Pass the Dutchie

2 Shakin Stevens, This Ole House

3 Adam and the Ants, Kings of the Wild Frontier

Its going to make me feel really old when someone says that the Prodigy or Chemical Brothers were their first.

And I did break-dancing - Jeeeesus What was I thinking!!

Adam and the Ant are probably due for a revival !

Especially with Pirates of the Caribean and Russell Brand being so popular these days.

It was sung by Freeez

YouTube - Freez - I.O.U. (1983)

I worked for the the lead singer, John Rocca, when he was a project manager at Telecoms IT company in 1997.

Still got a few 6 or is it 7" records here

Liverpool FC > the "Anfield rap" (IIRC it was a birthday present pmsl)
The toy dolls > "Nellie the Elephant"
Black Lace > "Hokey Cokey" (knees stretched arms out blahh, blahh blahh, lol no idea how i got this )
Bizz Nizz > "Dont miss the party line" classic LOL
2 copies of Technotronic > "Get Up" classic (one with card cover and silver print, one with paper cover and white print)
2 Unlimited > "Tribal Dance" classic

IIRC i was doing a live trance set a few years back one one of the radio stations, i was a bit "drunk" and egged on by my mates over msn, i started scratching in "nellie the elephant", and it went downhill from that point onwards

Brilliant!! Camberley Civic Disco... every Saturday

It's all coming back to me... the wife is looking at me like I've consumed too much and need bed. Meh!! She hasn't lived if she hasn't stuck her head on the floor and span it around to dance music!!!! I'm sure some of you appreciate this.

Come on... who did the robotic dancing? I was bloody king of that, they'd clear the floor so I could do my thang... Hmmm perhaps they were just getting out of the way cos they thought I was having an eppy fit

OK, so how do I get that $h!t out of my head Had the theme to X-Files driving me mad for 2 days, and now you replace it with this

My first would have been Queen, Live Killers and Greatest Hits.....on tape along with Boomtown Rats, Mondays on 7" vinyl, much to the chagrin of my Mum.
