I think it may cost more or atleast the same!

It would also inconvenience me hugely. I would have to walk to the local train station (Halifax), get train to Leeds and onto Doncaster. From there I presume a bus but dont know the stops!

I used to train to work as it worked out cheaper and faster (15 mins to Pudsey).

My wife before she passed her test (on days I couldnt take her) used to bus to work (Halifax to Huddersfield) and it took her over an hour for a 9 mile drive!

have you included the car park fees?

if you use public transport you have to live your life differenty to car drivers. PT users have to take a brolly everywhere and lug coats and jumpers around with them. then there is footwear. in the wet weather you mess your shoes up......and your hair, and you are limited as to what you can carry round with you. you are also a target for mugging......

i dont ever want to have to rely on public transport

Sarah i wish my fuel bill was that low. My fuel bill for 7 days is about £100 and thats just for work and a bit of local driving. If i go for a weekend drive like tomorrow to coventry then you can add another £40 at least
Jason.....
