I'm hanging an interior door
Grr, I forgot how b*stard difficult they were. Last time I did it was 4 in 2 weekends, but that was about 5 years ago... and I ******* hated it then!
Got to get some wood or cardboard to raise the lower hinge, cos the bloody doorframe is ****-eyed
Bloody DIY!!!
Anyone esle having DIY "fun"??

I know what you mean, we live in a 1920's house, haven't been here long and the jobs are piling up and up!!
I've got a list as long as my bloody arm, in every room. Every ******* room!!!
Still... the Stella's in the fridge it helps to soften the pain.

Knocked out a full chimney breast today. Nice, no brainer job.
Hand balled every brick into the skip, 25m away and brimmed it. I look like Al Jolson.
Quick shower now, and off to the pub for 4 or 5 well earned pints.

I'm having fun trying to keep 30 year old storage heaters working in my girlfriends flat. Managed to get one working again by replacing a thermal fuse about 3 weeks ago. Got up yesterday to find a completely different one has stopped working - good job I bought 2 x thermal fuses last time round , assuming that's what's wrong with it .
Can't wait until we move into our new house with brand new gas central heating system!

Would it not be cheaper to replace them with central heating?? Dont they cost 200 million pounds a day to run??

Not to mention the fact that a lot of older flats don't, and never will, have mains gas.
