Has Britney Spears lost her mind
The Sun Online - Bizarre: Raging Britney is off her brolly
is this the same woman who took the music world by storm and has earned a reportedly $80 million dollars in 10 years but isn't it sad that the whole world can watch it happen in the media.

You are all pretty cruel to her. The English disease certainly has you in its grip. Someone is a success and you delight in seeing them fall from a great height.
She needs help. Let's hope she gets it and gets her life back on track. I'm no great fan of her or her music, but having been at the sharp end of post natal depression, I can empathise with the girl. Thankfully, I didn't have her money to help make matters worse!

I agree with Yve.
There is something highly perverse about the way this country delights in the misfortune of others.
Apart from Toxic, her music does nothing for me, but what we're seeing is the unravelling of a young woman, and a mother, who, by most peoples aspirations has made it big time.
In 20 years time, when her kids are drug crazed crack heads, who have gone off the rails, those same people who are now delighting in Britney's mental illness, will no doubt be criticising her parenting skills, conveniently forgetting the delight they took in the illness she is now suffering from.

she's definately lost her hair! Aswell as her mind. But I agree with some here, she's obviusly depressed or something and I personlly think it's wrong they snap every little thing she does now for humiliation or a story.
price you pay for fame I guess.

I have better things to worry about in my own life, then there's those in less fortunate places, then there are several thousand other issues to think about before I worry about an overprivedged American celebrity, its hard to be arsed about someone who has it all but is so self oriented and fooked up they cant see it.
Get over youself woman, you are one of several billion on this planet.

She needs smacking, hard. Let's hope she gets the publicity she seeks and gets her life back on track. I'm no great fan of her or her music, but having been at the sharp end of post natal depression, I can empathise with the girl. Thankfully, I didn't have her money to help make matters worse!

She's burned the candle at both ends and is now paying the price as millions of others have done before her.

Not that I follow Britney's career that much, but she seems to of gone off the rails after JT dumped her.....
She came from a southern town to Hollywood at 18 or whatever with a stack of cash.... no wonder she fell apart...
What disappoints me if the attitude of English people now.... I am 30 and when I was young if I saw someone with a big house and nice car, I thought "I will work hard and one day have something like that" but now people see someone with success and think "can't wait till that ****er falls flat on their face".......
If I had been in her position, I would probably of shot some ****er a long time ago

I dont see why people are feeling sorry for her. If the constant being in the limelight was getting to much for her, she could have just quit it. There have been tons of other high profile stars that have done it, and hence can now go nearly anywhere they want without being hassled by joe bloggs or the papperazzi

Its the price of fame I guess. She obviously needs help. But with her been in the public eye will make her rehabilitation that much more difficult.
With the correct help she may come out of this a stronger person. It is obvious that she has instability in her life, this needs addressing.
This is a time when she needs her family and friends, not to be hounded by the press gangs to litter our front pages with pictures and stories of a person that is clearly ill. Makes me sick.
But it sells papers.

She's not a bad person, just a young mother with a failing marriage, two young children and struggling to cope with the pressures affecting her....
Quite sad really.............

I feel sorry for her. Most people that have some form of breakdown don't have it all over the front pages of the world's newspapers. I didn't see anybody poking (sorry) fun at Kylie when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Why then does it seem acceptable to make fun of mental illness?

I agree that some celebs are asking for the attention and they can't really complain when it backfires on them but I can't imagine being sixteen years old and having a bunch of strange men running after me - in any other situation this would not be tolerated, give them a camera and a press pass and it's somehow okay.
