Hats off to him for doing that. Getting arrested will only be beneficial in terms of getting even greater publicity.
Free Chris Eubank now!
Edited to add: Couldn't give a **** about Harry Hewitt going to Iraq, but the war as a whole has to be questioned and will hopefully lose the Labour party the next election

GOOD ON HIM! At least hes not drowning in self pity and rehab clinics like most of our society's 'role models', it takes guts to take a stand on things, and I take my proverbial hat off to Eubank for being a principled decent man.

It is kinda amusing..
Shame he doesn't understand how the MOD, PJHQ, and HQ Land works with regards to the deployment of military units.. but whens something like that stopped a good protest.
But good on him still - at least I can have some respect for him rather than the egotists like Bono and Geldof.

He has gone up in my estimation for that. It is shameful that the police feel they have the power to arrest him for making a perfectly reasonable public statement.
This sort of thing leaves the police and NL in a very bad light.

Must admit when i watched him fight Carl Thompson my estimation went up - he got bettered and still refused to go down.
they've knocked down his old house and built flats on the site so i've been told

He must have done something else to warrant his arrest, as driving up and down in his truck isn’t a breach of the peace.
A breach of the peace goes along the lines of….”wherever harm is actually done or is likely to be done to a person or in his presence his property, or a person is in fear of being so harmed, through an assault, an affray, a riot, unlawful assembly or other disturbance.''

So they were right to arrest him as he risked someone pro-Iraq throwing a coke can at the van. (Harm likely to be done to a person or in his presence his property, through an assault)
