Well seeing as Subway make their own bread on the premises, I think you'd struggle to find it anywhere else

It might be decent size and shape, but it stinks of grease and tastes like ****.

What you want is a proper Vienna as made by:

Brassingtons
Brown street
Macclesfield
Cheshire

Easily the best bread in the world

Are you sure Subway make their own bread every day? I suspect they merely cook prepared dough or even part-baked bread. I see no evidence that their units are large enough to allow them to make the bread on the premises.

I would imagine the size of the outlet dictates which they do, but the one my Stepdaughter worked in definitely made their own, she made it (another reason incidentally, to give Subway bread a miss).
We used to make her get changed in the garage when she got home, because she stank to high heaven of the oil ridden dough

I am very surprised that subway bake their own bread. I would have thought it would be bake off where they chuck frozen stuff in the oven.
