Angry British road signs in Polish!

I have just spotted this in the Daily Express.

Daily Express: The World's Greatest Newspaper

Yes I know it's a terrible rag, but this effort takes the biscuit in PC correctness; not to mention a colossal waste of money, especially, if every other council in Britain with a Polish population does the same.

It would be laughable if it wasn't true! The guy actually defended it?

If it reduces the possibility of an accident involving an uninsured overtired Polish lorry driver, then I'm all for it. Although of course, removing uninsured overtired Polish lorry drivers from the roads altogether would have been a better use of the money.

Completely ridiculous. On one hand we have a government telling immigrants they must learn English and then local councils doing things like this.

What a petty little man the person who thought this up is.

Shouldn't the normal signs be written along the lines of :

"D1v3r510n d1s w@y 1nn1t!"

"If u cr45h, l3gg1t m8y"

"D4 fuzz i5 0p3r4t1ng c4mr4z 3r3 1nn1t"

"T4x d15c5 4r3 4 5uck4z"

etc

What about Polish Countdown. You would need 7 consonants and 2 vowels.

What next though?

Muslims will be up in arms about this. Racist discrimination !!!!

They'll now be calling for all signs to be in f00king their language. Behead all those who put up signs in English.

Where do we stop though. There will be an argument that we should have signs in French, German, Spanish etc for all those drivers of that country.

Some English drivers have a bad enough time finding there way around now, having foreign language signs up everywhere will just confuse more people.

Jesus Christ this is England. You come to England, what do you expect other than every sign to be in English.

If you don't like ..........................

There's an industrial estate near me that has signs in French and German at the exit for foreign lorry drivers telling them to drive on the left.

Now I'd expect this around Dover etc, but this is just outside Nottingham, probably as far as you could be from a port or the coast in the country. So it begs the question, how did they manage to get there in the first place - presumably they managed that bit of their journey on the correct side of the road
