I have to find something other than Virgin...

The music is quite good, but Steve "Penkie" is too annoying for words. If his tactic is to get you out of bed in the morning as soon as the radio comes on, he's onto a winner with me.

Any other suggestions?

I always listen to Kiss 100, Bam Bam and street boy certainly give me a laugh in the morning before I get to work. Guess if you get that you should get Kiss?

Well, dunno where you are, but I listen to Vibe FM until I lose coverage at the M11/M25 junction, then it's 09.00 & Penke is normally quiet for the next 10 songs

If he's too annoying then its CD time...

 

Yep, Vibe FM too -- apart from when they start talking: then I usually switch to another station for a few minutes. Used to listen to Virgin when it was the ginger tosser, but can't stand Penkie.

Can't understand these people who listen to Radio 4. I need music when driving, not talking.

 

Talsport for me on crackly medium wave. In the morning its Alan Brazil and Mike Parry which is quite entertaining but in the evening going home its two guys called Hawksby and Jacobs, this is fantastically funny

A few weeks ago they were sent an article on Alex McLeish who at the time was coming towards the end of his playing career with Aberdeen. It was reported in thel ocal rag that a team from the J league was after him. This was reported under the headline:

'Jap's eye McLeish'

I nearly drove off the road

 

In the living room Capital Radio, in the bathroom Radio 1 (crap radio with bad reception). Hate the adverts on Capital, but it's the lesser of numerous evils.

 

Capital FM with CT loud in your ears

 

XFM , can't be dealing with boring mainstream stuff.

Kiss FM. However I thought it was better with Steve Jackson and Street bot not Bam Bam.

If at all I occasionly listen to kiss 100 but I can't stand sarah *** or Tarant :/ ahh well.

 

Radio 1 wakes me up. Sara *** is the most annoying sound ever and requires a swift run for the off button.

I'm with AllanB on this one XFM, suggest everyone gives Christian O'Connell a listen, he is a very funny guy, rips the p1ss out of everyone but not in a nasty way. Oh yeah and the best music by an absolute mile, not for prepubescent dance freaks!!! I Jest I dont need a flaming from the Max Power massive
