Yup just watched the lunchtime news - seems to be a plot foiled to kidnap a soldier in the Uk and chop his head off then post the video up on the internet....

Assuming that the terrorist ***** were going to kidnap & kill a member of the armed forces the numpties in question should serve life (as in LIFE without parole)....... 
Or given the option of walking through downtown Baghdad at night, wearing only an England top (like wrxcraigs

It would generate a far greater amount of fear if they lifted a random 'Mrs Smith' who'd just walked her 2.4 children to primary school etc. How scary would that be?

I suppose it may give some perspective to Jade Goody's 'racism', I cannot start to imagine what would happen if random members of the public started turning missing their heads with a calling card stapled to them.

Why are we given this extra bit of information? What is its purpose? I mean, amazon.co.uk sells Islamic literature. So do thousands of other bookshops.
It's this kind of reporting that demonises Islam even more than it already is - The insinuation is that because the shop sells Islamic literature, there is some sort of sinister aspect to it.

What makes me sick is all the locals going on about how these people are innocent and how the police should be out catching real criminals and how many more will be raided tonight and arrested for nothing
Its these pr!cks who are hiding the extremists and standing up for them when they get caught thats making the whole situation worse. If the communities where these extremists live actually outed them and stopped hiding them then there wouldn't be so much anti muslim hatred going on in this country. They should try helping themselves for once by denouncing the terrorist activities of the extremists. I suppose they think 7/7 didn't happen and they were good people or that those rounded up for the failed 21/7 bombings were setup

I don't doubt that these vile individuals do not represent the vast majority of peaceful, law abiding muslims, but nevertheless: muslim extremism IS a MUSLIM problem! The rest of the community need to be proactive in outing those who profane islam with these atrocities. Being indifferent to these kind of incidents, or playing the PC card and wining about police targeting muslims is only adding fuel to the fire of the growing anti-muslim sentiment in this country.

All this "the community should be outing them rather than protecting them" crap makes me laugh. When a white man is found to be a murderer or a paedophile do you lot come on here syaing his white neighbours and community should have outed him? Has it ever actually occurred to you that the majority of terrorists, Muslim or otherwise, don't actually go around discussing their intentions and beliefs with their local community? Just a thought!

No thats wrong lets put them in jail with TV Playstation and everything they havent got at home, then let them go in 6 months, so not to cause any upset. They probably came from a one parent family with a harsh childhood

Just watching coverage on the news about this - as per usual all the muslims are sticking up for the terrorists and trying to blame the government, and everyone else etc for the issue
Interesting piece on skynews about muslims not intergrating - obviously the muslim spokesman was claiming they were intergrating, yet he could barely speak English and the other members of the debate couldnt understand what the ******* idiot was saying
Also interesting (yet hardly surprising) to hear that massive amounts of muslims dont work and live on benefits - 69% of muslim women who could work, dont - as its a muslim thing for the women to not be educated etc.
Really is about time sometime put their foot down and told b@stards to get intergrating on our terms, or have their benefits cut. Maybe offering them a free flight to the muslim country of their choice would help too.

First and foremost, you are confounding race and religion!
Secondly, a "white man" or "black man" or whatever the hell colour someone is does not become a paedophile in the name of a religion!
These extremists professing to act on behalf of Islam. In doing so they profane one of the worlds great religions.
A depiction of Mohammed yielded mass protests by the Muslim communities. A series of beheadings occur "in the name of Islam", some of which are broadcast on the internet and where is the similar levels of disquiet???
Make no mistake, extremists are not reclusive and shy about fronting their views; we've all seen very public examples of "preachers" openly advocating hate and intolerence in local mosques, praising suicide bombers etc. Extremists attend mosques, take active roles in communities of people of the same faith, contribute to websites, participate in protests etc... sooner or later their real views will surface; they MUST stand out among the decent muslims.
Common garden murders tend not to advertise their ill deeds, nor do they form a 'murderers community support group'. If they don't want to be caught very quickly, they learn to be as inconspicuous as possible.
I'm sorry but I fail to see this some 'underground' problem which the decent muslims would always be oblivious to. I think religious leaders have a duty to speak up, especially when the politicans and press let us down so badly.
