what was the site that told you if your old car is still knocking about?
Can anyone remember the website that lets you put a reg in, and tell you if your old car is still registered/on the road etc

Going through loads of old regs from the guys at work it seems that insurance write offs disappear off the list whereas cars taken to a scrapyard don't. Pikey scrapyard owners not bothering with paperwork seems to be the favourite theory.

I typed in the Impreza reg (had it 8 months now) it still says 1 previous owner even though i'm number three?!? I know it's been updated too as it's now on my private plate.

Typical, it only checks the DVLA database, here in N'orn I'ron we have our own DVLNI, the DVLNI is due to move into the DVLA in Swansea later this year so maybe they will merge the database's
